Introducing our Overseer and the Harper FamilyThe Michiana Region (Michigan and Indiana) was partnered together with the Illinois and Wisconsin Region at our recent International Assembly in Nashville, Tennessee. Bishop Timothy A. Harper was appointed as the Overseer of the newly formed Great Lakes Region. Bishop Harper was first appointed Overseer of Michiana in January, 2004 and has served as the Senior Pastor of Harvest Worship Center (HWC) in Taylor, Michigan since 1995. Brother Harper is currently leading HWC through a transitional period. The Harpers have been in the pastorate for 22 years. Brother and Sister Harper (formerly Karen Little) were married on October 18, 1985. Karen is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. She was educated at Sullivan University and worked as Administrative Secretary for the Vice President of Procurement at the international corporate offices of Kentucky Fried Chicken. She currently serves as Brother Harper’s secretary in the role of the Great Lakes Regional Office Manager. The Harpers enjoy camping together as a family. In the summer of 2008, they spent several days in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on a camping vacation. As well, the boys enjoy their annual hunting trips with their father and grandfather Harper. They enjoy turkey, deer, and rabbit hunting. |
