I am very excited about the move of God we’re experiencing in our new region and I am anticipating a great year for the ladies throughout the Great Lakes Region.

Matthew 9:37b & 38
“The harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into His harvest.”

John 4:35b & 36
“Lift up your eyes and look on the field; for they are white already to harvest.  And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal; that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

Isaiah 60:1 Arise and shine for thy light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

I believe the Lord is calling us to wake up and lift up our eyes for truly the harvest is ripe and ready to be gleaned.  We must seek God and ask Him to lead us to the field of labor that He has for us.  Let us be workers together and reap the harvest.

Ladies, it is here!  If you haven’t gotten your application in and you still wish to come, please e-mail me at pastortammy@bluemarble.com.  There is no fee for mailing in a late registration, but there will be a nominal charge for registering at the door.  Please, get your applications mailed in so you can save on your tuition.  As well, Sara Weathers will be offering some embroidery work for towels at a nominal fee.  She’ll have some to choose from, or you may wish to bring your own. 

Author and minister, Max Lucado writes, “When your world touches God’s world, the result is a holy moment.  When God’s high hope kisses your earthly hurt, that moment is holy.”  - Max Lucado

Isaiah 44:2a reads, “I am your Creator. You were in My care even before you were born.”  Who knows more about us than the one who created us?  Ladies, come expecting to experience that holy moment with God. Come as you are and I believe you will leave having been in the presence of the Holy One - forever changed.

Our theme this year is "Driven with a Heart-Felt Vision." 

Phillipians 4:13, 14 -
"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

I’m asking God for a fresh anointing and for the ladies of Michiana to be "Driven with a Heart-Felt Vision."  An old Chinese proverb says:
Vision
If your vision is for a year, plant wheat.
If your vision if for ten years, plant trees.
If your vision is for a lifetime, plant people.

Ladies, join me in prayer for a harvest of souls as we labor together.  Applications have been sent to the pastors and we are anticipating a great move of God.  Ladies, plan now and come expecting from God.

There is excitement in the air as the Ladies Conference draws near.  We are honored to have Sister Sylvia Staten from South Carolina as our special speaker.  She is a mighty, anointed woman of God and I'm sure she will inspire each of us.  I know this is a great sacrifice for many of you ladies, but I am confident that God has great things for each of you in this conference.  I encourage you, if you have not sent in your application, please do so.

Our theme this year is "Uncontainable" taken from Jeremiah 20:9 "But His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones and I was weary with forbearing and I could not stay."  As well, we will be having a Hawaiian theme for the Saturday night banquet. 

I know many of you are coming with great needs and I have been in prayer asking God to meet each one of them.  God spoke to Jeremiah, “Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off?" (Jer. 23:23)  Ladies, I know without a doubt that he is a God at hand and he will be there to meet your needs.  I count it a great honor to serve as your Women's Ministry Director. Please feel free to call me or e-mail me with any needs or questions you may have.  I’m Looking forward to seeing you at beautiful Shipshewana.

Michiana Ladies Conference is only a few weeks away and I hope you are making plans to come. You can access an application on the Michiana website at www.michianacogop.com.  Applications are coming in daily.  It is our desire that every lady in Michiana attend this conference. We will waive the $15.00 late fee if you can get your applications in by March 12, 2007.  This conference is going to be dynamic and you will want to be a part of it.  God is doing amazing things.  Our guest speaker is Sylvia Staten. The ladies of Michiana are going to fall in love with this lady. Please visit her website www.sylviastaten.com. 

On Saturday evening we will be enjoying a Hawaiian Night so find your tropical blouse or Hawaiian Muumuu to wear. Oh yes, don't forget to practice the "Limbo".   We are going to have a great time.   We are looking forward to being with you at this conference.
