We believe the camping ministry is one of the most effective tools we have to reach young people with the Good News. Our camping ministry began over forty years ago and still continues strong in our regional youth camps.

Children's Ministries

We envision excellent ministry to children in every congregation and/or community throughout the world.

Children's Ministries mission is to win, disciple, and train children for the purposes of God. We see children as God's army and ambassadors today as well as in the future. Throughout the Bible children ministered to God and others. We will work with God to help our children develop lifestyles of ministry to Him and service to others.

Education

“ “Connecting hearts and minds with ministry.”

Being in the Pentecostal stream of Christianity, it is no surprise that we practice our faith with freedom and allow our emotions to move us. Faith development, however, is not achieved by feelings alone. Our minds are part of who we are and a wonderful gift from God. Therefore, we must not neglect our minds in the process of our faith development.

It is the goal of this regional ministry to provide opportunities for spiritual growth through educational dialogues and classroom settings. Three tentative dates have been set for such opportunities. Those dates are: January 6-7 in New Albany, IN; February 3-4 in Sodus, MI; and May 5-6 in Taylor, MI. The following subjects will be offered at each location: Understanding and Interpreting the Bible; Counseling; and Children’s Ministries. There may also be a fourth subject offered. More information
concerning these seminars will be available soon. Our hope is that in the future you will have the opportunity to be introduced to other subjects such as: biblical criticism, theology, ethics and philosophy, etc. Everyone is encouraged to attend these seminars. They are not only for the ministry,
but for laity as well.

Your mind plays a vital role in the development of your faith whether you realize it or not. Through this ministry we hope you realize it and truly connect your heart and mind with your particular ministry.

Family Ministries

Strong families are vital to the success of any community. The quality of the family can only be enhanced through churches ministering through encouragement and helps. Ministry to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs must be strengthened through teaching, sharing, caring, listening and becoming involved in the real needs of others. Special times are set aside for the traditional mother and father family, the single parent family, and the children of both groups to reflect on their goals and realities of life in retreats, one day seminars, evening socials, dinners and interaction sessions. Developing strong families makes for a strong church that evolves into a strong community of believers and leaders.

Fields of the Wood

Fields of the Woods is an inspirational Biblical theme park. The park is toured by thousands throughout the year and has many depictions of marvelous biblical events, including Golgotha, Jesus' tomb, and then Ten Commandments displayed on a mountain side. Fields of the Wood also holds special services and baptisms throughout the year.

Heritage Ministries is responsible for the "Fields of the Woods" and other prevalent historical markers.

Our network of global ministry includes over 60 regional offices internationally. Each local church takes part in missionary ministry by supporting your chosen Harvest Partner through prayer, on-going communication, and finances.

Men's Ministries

The primary purpose of having a Men's Ministry in a local church is to reach men in the community with a legitimate offer of the gospel and to equip them as spiritual leaders for their families, church, work and community. To arrive at our purpose requires offering an opportunity for community with one another by building strong relationships. A community in relationships provides the glue that holds men together through expressing feelings, listening to others of like experience and caring for all as Jesus cares in love and acceptance. Friendships help to establish confidence in others that leads to sharing. Many men are hurting and tired but none are alone in their suffering and anxiety. Events and activities are a means to the ultimate of seeing men changed by the power of God. Changed men become spiritually awakened an active. Men become disciples, workers in the church, leaders in the family, active in stewardship, giving and examples for their children. As the purpose of Men's Ministry is fulfilled, the church grows spiritually and numerically while men and families are being transformed into His likeness.

Women's Ministries

Women's Ministries in the Church of God of Prophecy defines a resource center providing assistance in ministering to the needs of women, providing ministry opportunities for women, and increasing awareness of mission needs. As women experience spiritual and personal growth, they will, spontaneously, become vessels through which the grace of God is enlarged.

Annual Women's Conferences/Retreats provide an opportunity for women to come together for worship, prayer, ministry one to another and ministry to God.

Youth Ministries

In basic terms, the mission of the Youth Ministries department has at the HEART of it the following goals:

. Help youth to mature and grow in their relationship with Christ (discipleship)
. Equip them for service to others (ministry)
. Assimilate them into the local body by encouraging church membership (fellowship)
. Reach young people (and young adults) with the love of Jesus Christ (evangelism)
. Teach and encourage them to maintain a lifestyle of service to God (worship)

Youth Ministries sponsors regional, national, and international youth conferences, camps, retreats, crusades, and leadership meetings, as well as youth related activities in state and national conventions and the General Assembly.
