Prayer Requests

• Pastor James Trump, (River Rouge, MI) went home to be with the Lord last night after a long battle with cancer.  Please be in prayer for his wife, Henny and their children Wendy Trump Grant, and James Trump, Jr. Funeral service will be held at Voran on Saturday, June 14 at 10 a.m
• The Spencer COGOP has been flooded due to the torrential rainfall and swelling river waters.  On Sunday, Pastor Lowe informed us that there was in excess of 57 inches of flood waters in the sanctuary.  Yesterday, they were expecting additional rainfall.  Please be in prayer for the Spencer congregation, and Pastor Tammy Lowe as she provides leadership for the church.  They are currently looking for a facility to rent in order to continue their services. 
• Mayme Holloway, went home to be with the Lord yesterday afternoon, after a long battle with cancer.  Sis. Holloway was a faithful member of the COGOP.
• Laura Cathy, the mother of Linda Clements, wife of COGOP North America Presbyter Bishop Sam Clements, died last night around 10:00 PM. The funeral will be Monday, May 19
• The funeral of Pastor Darren and Veronica Huff's baby will be on Friday Dec. 1, at 1:00pm at the D. O. McComb &Sons Funeral Home, at 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, Ind. Visitation will be on Thursday Nov. 30 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
• Pray for Pastor Darren and Veronica Huff, Fort Wayne, IN. during their loss of their their unborn baby. Our regional Overseer email the following: "... this would be an excellent time to share with the Huffs financially.  The medical expenses will be challenging.  Should you desire to make a contribution you may send it to the Regional Office, and we will see that they receive it, or you may send directly to the Huffs.  If you are sending to the Regional Office please specify that it is for the Darren Huff family." 
• Continue to remember in prayer Pastor Elwood Adams father. He has an infection, and is having a surgery to replace the IV stint
• Pastor Phyllis Huff was moved from the surgical ICU to the neuro-surgical unit.  The bandage was removed & she is able to talk & lift her hands, move her arms & feet, as well as talk & recognize everyone.  Please continue to keep her in your prayers on this road to recovery.  She is supposed to start physical therapy today.
• Pastor Peters has had to resign the Adrian church due to heart problems.  Please pray for Bro. & Sis. Peters and the Adrian church.
• Please remember the Omer Lawson family during the time of their grief and in celebration of Omer Lawson moving his residence to heaven.
• Pastor Huff has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.  Pastor Huff is the mother of Pastor Darren Huff (Fort Wayne, IN).  I know the Huff family will appreciate your prayers for Sis. Huff.
• Request and report from the family of Howard Hunt. "Dad had surgery on June 27th. He had a mass in his colon and it was cancer in stage 3. We don't know the extent of it all yet. The med’s affected him because he’s not used to taking anything, and made him very confused.  He was in the hospital for 8 day’s.  He came home on July 3.  He’s doing and handling things as well as can be expected. please keep Dad in prayer; he’s still having pain from the surgery, that God will heal him completely" Also keep in prayer Sister Hunt and family.
• Sat., July 8th report for Pastor Trump: Brother Trump has taken a turn for the worse this late afternoon/evening time. Earlier in the day, he was laboring to breathe hard enough that the doctors put him back on the respirator so he wouldn't have to use so much energy to
  fill his lungs. Otherwise he was stable. But now, his temperature has risen to 103 degrees, his blood pressure has dropped and his body is starting to swell again. The doctors do not know what is causing this. Please pray, as you have been so faithful to do, that God will help him through this set back also. And please breathe a prayer for Henny, Wendy and Jim for strength to handle these circumstances
• Pastor James Trump (River Rouge, MI) will be having surgery for cancer in the pancreas on Thursday, June 29 at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI.  I know the Trump family will appreciate your prayers.
• Johnny Stapleton, father of Kathy Barker, pastor's wife of Christ Tabernacle--Sheridan, IN, will be having open heart surgery (6 by-pass) on Wednesday, June 28, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.  I know Sis. Barker will appreciate your prayers for her father
• Pray for Howard Hunt, former overseer of Michigan. Bishop Hunt has been taken by ambulance to the hospital. Also prayer for Lucille Hunt and family. Bro Hunt's daughters and family will be traveling several hours to the hospital.
• I am so confused about my spiritual walk....pray for guidance from the Lord.
• Lift up my mother in prayer....for guidance from the Holy Spirit and peace
• Pray for Debbie M grandson who has possible cellulitis, ulcers on skin.
• Michelle P. lost custody of her children due to drugs. Pray for her to be able to regain custody at her hearing on Tuesday the 27th.
• Please keep Pastor Trump and his family in prayer. Bishop Trump was diagnosed with cancer in the pancreas and will under go surgery.
• Pray for Beck who has had a heart attack. Becky is Pastor Elwood Adams sister.
• Please take a moment to say a prayer for my nephew, Michael Adams (19 yrs old) who, yesterday while on his job, fell about 50 feet from the Cell Phone Tower he was working on near Toledo, Ohio. Michael has much damage to his body, spinal, broken arm, legs, crushed heels etc. Michael is in Spinal surgery this morning. He is in a induced comma because of the extreme pain he is experiencing.
• Pray for Pastor Willie & Tim Floyd and family at the passing of Tim's Father. Funeral will be in Knoxville, TN.
